Finally, the time had come, we were on the last day of our first Canadian adventure. We’d seen some truly remarkable places and were already hoping to return, but there was one more stretch of road to cover. We don’t usually take out-and-back routes on our trips, but when you get to see one of Read more about Southbound on the Icefields Parkway[…]
Is it just me or has this year has just flown by? How is May almost over? I’m sure I’m not alone in my curiosity about this, but it seems to go faster each year. I know it’s been a while since I’ve written and I’m not happy about it, but I am glad to Read more about Life’s Next Chapter[…]
I constantly struggle with developing my images in Lightroom. It’s not because I don’t know how or that I’m not good at it (I’m not great at it, but that’s has nothing to do with my reasoning,) it’s because I am still working to break my old habit of sharing my images as they’re captured, Read more about Why I’m Finally Embracing Lightroom[…]

Last month I shared with you some of my thoughts in Reflections and Resolutions. I can honestly say that keeping to some of these resolutions has been more challenging than others. Family time has already improved as we’ve reinstated family date night, the improving weather is allowing us to be outside more and we’re already planning our summer Read more about Following through[…]
What inspires you to travel? Or do you even like to travel? If you don’t, read on, maybe you’ll end up with a different outlook on what traveling can do for you. There are many reasons to travel. Work and pleasure may be the two that come to mind first. There are others, although I Read more about Why I’m inspired to travel[…]
Over the years, I’ve been called many things, some appropriate for a blog that I intend to be friendly for all ages and some that are less so. We’ll be focusing on the positive ones in this post. Creative is one that has come up over the years, though I think context often pushes that Read more about Creativity[…]
2015 was the year of perspective and introspection for me. 2016 is going to be a year of learning, planning and personal growth.
